some stuff on our kitchen table.. which is in the living room.

it was a lovely day today, though we didn't see much of it as we had to hang around waiting for the plumber to turn up.

when he did, we lit out to the jolly gardeners in garratt lane for a lovely pub lunch, then straight back home.

the windows should have been installed by now but apparently we are still waiting on parts to arrive from germany.

until the windows go in, we can't leave the house alone - too risky. the scaffolding tower in the garden is just too inviting to anybody who fancies a look round at our building works!

won't be so bad when the scaffolding comes down tomorrow. and the kitchen's half in - again waiting on parts.

maybe in a week things will start getting back to normal and we can stop camping out in the living room - which is why the kitchen table is there.
