Out with the old

The sink unblocker hadn’t worked this morning so might have to get serious with it or call out a plumber.
Finished work and stopped off a Screwfix to get a sink unblocking rod. Didn’t get time to try it as RD had managed to get tickets for Rory Bremner’s year review in town. Unfortunately we didn’t realise that its first come first served and they issue out more invites than tickets. As a result we couldn’t get in. So headed back via a couple of pubs to drown our sorrows.
Started to attack the sink again using the new bendy rod tool. After a bit of trial and error it worked. Managed to get the offending sweet potato sinks out from the drain. Everything went back together and there are no leaks. Seems that it was too bigger job for the old trusty plunger.
Had some food and caught up with a bit of TV before going to bed.
