Remembrance

Don't get me wrong , I fully understand the act of remembrance and the dignity and respect that it deserves, but every year I have the deep seated worry that I am going to forget the last post.

Therefore I always bottle it and play it on my cornet with a lyre and this laminated copy of the music, rather than on the bugle.

This year I have polished the bugle and am determined that I am going to remember, a different act of remembrance.

I'll let you all know tomorrow , as my first duty of the weekend is at the opening of the garden of remembrance in Keighley tomorrow, if I manage or not.
