Abandoned beauty

This is a shelter in the New Orleans City Park that hasn't been used since Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
It's in a portion of the park where one of the golf courses used to be. But all that remains of that course is concrete paths the golfers used to get from hole to hole. The paths are in bad shape, and the area has reverted to semi-wilderness, which is probably good.
I don't know how old this shelter is, but it could be very very old, judging from the metal work.
