In the Pink

Just wanted to share this beautiful native Manuka hybrid that is in full flower outside my window at the moment with cascading strands of pink flowers.
I think it is probably about 5 years old now and I am starting to need to prune it in the autumn to contain it a little.
Had planned to take a macro of the flowers, but decided to show it in all its glory.

And hail at lunchtime and snow on the Desert Road, what is happening with the weather....do hope the prediction of a warmer weekend is correct.
