Calderdales Stone Circle

I saw a photograph of what seemed to be an ancient stone circle .
Maybe it was from neolithic times .A small version of stonehenge in Calderdale.
Out i went on a horrible day to investigate and photograph it.
The stone circle was there on the top of Soil hill on the Halifax ,Bradford boundry .
It has an entrance that narrows down to a doorway on the south side. The centre dips down creating a sheltered haven from the elements.
It is made up of around 40 large quarried flagstones which the Yorkshire area has examples of used as field boundries.
My guess it was built at the time of the derelict farmhouse (which i can not date )as a enclosure or a shelter for farm animals. They would need it up there !
