Stirling Castle, War Memorial

A day spent in Stirling for work, discussing how to improve student transitions across higher education. Lots of great ideas.

After my meeting, I managed a quick wander up to Stirling Castle before dinner. A gorgeous sight, of both the Castle and the Wallace Monument which sits on a hill nearby.

Today's blip is of the war memorial just outside the Castle, erected in memory of those who lost their lives in South Africa in the period 1899 - 1902. More detail here.
