A Dreich Day on Lake Hood

My assignment for today is provided to me by BB, and I think G would approve.

I am very happy to accommodate since the assignment allows me to photograph more transportation things, the flying kind.

This little Piper Cub on floats is used for personal transportation out of Lake Hood. You are right, the little Piper is quite small, quite thin. It was designed in the 1940's before McDonald's, KFC, and Burger King when Americans were thinner.

As you can see, it is one of those dreich type of days, lots of haar too.
