The red palm weevil has killed our palm tree

The lemon tree must be happy to have all sunshine now that the palm tree has died and we have to have it cut down and burned at the local rubbish dump.
I blame those who brought palm trees in bad conditions to the southern coast of Andalucia. Now all the palm trees are dying here. Ours was not an exception. And it was our favourite tree in our small garden.

Pedro Planted it when we bought the house, and it has been growing proudly for over twenty years. Now we have lost our precious palm tree. I am sad!
