What is the point of tidying up?

Especially a play room? This room was spotless this time yesterday....and I have actually been tidying in here today - bought a load of IKEA storage system boxes yesterday, and all the Playmobil has been put away, and the old boxes chucked out. Next task - LEGO - the bane of every parents' lives....
