Gillipaw's Journal

Millbrae Crescent, Langside, Glasgow

Part of the Langside Heritage Trail. Nos 2 - 38 are "A" listed, designed by Alexander "Greek" Thomson. Built in 1876 by his partner Robert Turnbull shortly after Thomson's death. The railings were restored in 1995-6. A wee bit of a shame about the blue recycling bin. There are some fabulous decorated chimney pots along the Crescent, a Blip for another day.

A lovely morning to be admiring beautiful architecture, then torrential downpours in the afternoon.
