Clean

...is what we did nearly all day today. Tim went off to pilate's as usual first thing, while I got some washing on and started cleaning the kitchen. We went food shopping together mid-morning, came back and had some lunch, then set to work again....

I prepared a huge stew for when our friends come to visit tomorrow (hence all the cleaning!), while Tim did some DIY (re-hanging the cupboard doors in our hall, putting catches on them, and putting up a key hook). He then cleaned all the windows in the flat, and the bathroom blind (which was rank but now looks new!), while I hoovered the kitchen, all the edges in the living room and dining room and then the bathroom. Tim then did all the rest of the hoovering, and the dusting, too - and I cleaned the bathroom and changed the bed.

Not surprisingly, we were rathered knackered this evening, so decided to get a takeaway for dinner (valiantly refraining from tucking into the stew) I did a final bit of cleaning - some washing up - after dinner, and finally spotted a photo opp for the day (in the bubbles left in the sink).
