Remembering

Today Silsden Football club, along with the British legion, remembered those from the area who died in the first world war. Members of the football sent out to fight wanted to continue to play football and asked for a set of jerseys, which were duly sent. Many did not make it back. Today they played their Saturday fixture in those old colours. First football match we have ever been to!
