Corrugated.

Corrugations have always been a part of my life. All of the houses I have lived in have had corrugated iron roofs[which make such a soothing sound when the rain falls on it].Maybe it is only soothing to those of us who are used to it as it is actually quite loud.On the farms the woolsheds have had walls and roofs of iron...it is quite an iconic New Zealand material. Further more as I have lived on gravel roads out in the countryside we have to suffer the terrible corrugations which the traffic causes to form in the surface of the road. Now our new home is clad in corrugated iron so feels very familiar. A sunny evening caught this sliver of light on the iron.
