Flowers of the Forest

More footy blips! Don't think I'll be playing spot the ball with this one. Aye, anyways, it being remembrance weekend, it was apt that Raith came calling as, along with Falkirk, most of their first team players signed up to Macrae's Battalion. So, it was a poignant occasion. Especially with the rain beating down on the roof of the old stand where I sit, which was built shortly before the war. Yes indeed.
Enough musing! To the match report. And I must state that the football was bloody awful, a speculative strike from Ozturk in the fourth minute separating the teams after ninety. Still, the rain had stopped by the time we stepped up the road, and we're the only unbeaten footy team in Scotland.
Earlier, bought the new Jackson Browne CD, and on the strength of his interview in the Herald, the new Lucinda Williams album too. I hope it's not as shouty as her last couple.
