Back to autumn landscapes ...

If you think you've seen this view before, you're probably right. It's the stretch of forestry road that runs from Kilmun Arboretum, contouring round the hillside past the top of Puck's Glen and on into the forest, and the walk is one that catches the late sun on a winter's day. But who could resist the colour of that bracken, the gold creeping over the larch trees, or that magnificent crop of cones on the tree to the right of the photo?

And the scents were wonderful, and there was mist in the glen over Loch Eck ...
