Yet another for the photo collection

Several hundred of these have suddenly appeared in the wood ten minutes away from home. I think I know what it is called but I do not have sufficient confidence to put its name into print.

A Blipper who has lots of Fungi expertise has told me that identification can be difficult. There are three Fungi Field Guides on my shelf but you really need the experience of forays with local experts before you can pronounce.

In order to improve my knowledge of these fascinating structures I have been collecting photographs this Autumn and will be adding this to my growing collection.
