Grangemouth and Geese.

This morning we were crossing the Kincardine Bridge and stopped off for a look around. The sun was up and there were geese on the foreshore. The tide was well out and lots of assorted waders were scavenging the tideline. Then a skein of geese appeared from wherever geese come from and a goodly portion of those on the ground decided to join them and seek breakfast elsewhere.
Later this afternoon we popped across to a place called Skinflats (wonderful name!) and took a stroll out towards the shoreline. We had quite a walk, got the boots deeply covered in mud and cow poop, saw heaps more birds and watched the sun go down behind the Kelpies. I was going to post those Kelpies but those power cables behind them just get in the way and spoil the whole effect.
