Crook

I was wandering about Leith Walk in search of a pomegranate, when I spotted Mark. What caught my eye at first wasn't his rather splendid dreadlocks, but the long twisted crook he was carrying. It's made of hawthorn wood, and cost him £10 many years ago. He said that someone had recently offered him a thousand pounds for it, but he'd told them they could take a running jump. Presumably he also told them where to stick it.

Somehow the photos with Mark's crook made way for this one.
