Majestic skies

The sky has been quite impressive today, though there was no rain after first thing this morning. There were lightning flashes going on most of the night my son said (he was awake a lot) but no thunder after yesterday evening.

I got some essential ironing done this morning and did a bit of grocery shopping while my son was at the hairdresser's (he needed a lift there and back as he's still very lacking in energy). I also filled the car up with petrol ready for our trip up to Derbyshire on Friday, which seems to be coming up quite quickly now :-)
