Himalayan Rock Salt

Mined in the second largest salt mine in the world at Khewra Salt Mine, Pakistan, these salt rocks are used as a source of salt for sheep on the hill.

The chemical analysis is 95-96% calcium chloride with traces of other minerals.

The pink colour comes from iron oxide.
