Oxford literature

A lovely end to a lovely day with a Literature evening at International English Club tonight. This focused on three great contributors to the wealth of great British literature - Lewis Carroll, CS Lewis and JRR Tolkien, all of whom worked at Oxford uni and wrote here, Lewis and Tolkien being close friends and collaborators, I do need to visit their favourite pubs at some point soon, not having done much tourist stuff for a while. Work was enlivened by some lovely news, with colleague giving us a great excuse for bucks fizz and cake by announcing her engagement!
