5p per bag

In 2000 I clearly remember going to a supermarket in Denmark. They didn't have disposable free bags, and I thought this was a great idea at the time

V and I have always tried to take recyclable bags to the supermarket, and from today will definitely be taking them everywhere.

All shops will be charging 5p per bag from 20th October, even the McDonalds drive through in this photo.

When the kids look back at this in a few years, they will never remember having plastic bags given away when you shop. Taking care of the future :)
