A WhirlingDervish

Not really. Yesterday I spent the day in Wellington with a friend and we filled in our day with a lot of interesting expeditions to all sorts of places. Started the day at a wildlife sanctuary which is right in the middle of Wellington. Amazing place acres of native bush predator free just packed with birdlife of all descriptions and Tuataras etc; all so fascinating .After a delightful café lunch we were off to the Old Karori Cemetery. Lots of interesting graves and so old all in the gullies and on the steepest of hills. Then to another old one where in the name of progress back in the 1960's they had put a motorway through it and relocated about 3000 lots of bones to a mass grave and there is a chapel there all very moving. After this we picked my friends grandchildren up from school aged 13 and 11 and off we went to another beautiful park to take photographs of them for a surprise Christmas present for their parents. So as well as all the nice ones we did some fun ones, they loved it. I am sure we have a nice selection of good ones for them to pick from. Then it was on the plane and home.
Todays blip to go and then I will be caught up.
