Remembrance

This seemed an appropriate image for my first upload, given the date, although I personally wear a white poppy to complement the red, given the increasing militarisation of the latter.

On this day we should remember all lives destroyed by war, soldiers and civilians, not forgetting the conscientious objectors and deserters who were punished by their own side.

We may remember, but we'll never learn, and that's the true horror of war.
