New Lens Test

The new 12-40 Pro.zoom lens for the Olympus E-M1 ordered last Friday arrived in the late afternoon today, so in the gathering gloom I popped into a nearby woodland to give it a quick test.

First impressions are that it is stonkingly sharp so much so that I had to reduce my sharpness and Clarity settings in Lightroom to avoid an overcooked look.

With it's useful range of focal length I think this will become the standard lens on this camera.
