165/365

Only 200 to go then.

I woke this morning expecting it to be wet but when I looked out of the window I saw this. Grabbed the camera and snapped. If I wasn't under the 365 yoke I wouldn't have posted this. Why? Well landscape is one of the weaker areas of my photography (although not as weak as portraiture). I struggle with the idea of "chocolate box" images with little or no narrative. Sometimes I add a narrative in text like this, but I still prefer an inherently strong image - the mono lone tree (mean, moody, magnificent) or bales of straw (harvest home, winter on the way). This image has no particular narrative beyond the bleary eyed tyranny of 365. Pretty, isn't it?
