This poster was part of the window display in the Army and Navy Stores as a tribute to those who fought for freedom. I managed to avoid most of the reflections as it was cloudy at the time. I note that they were even making inducements of a free uniform for those who signed up including many young boys who added a few years to their age so that they would qualify. At the time nobody realised the full horrors that this war held in store for them, or of the length of time it would last as they gladly set off to defend their country.
