Remembering and explaining to the next generation.

I took my medals into school today to show and explain to my Year 6 class as they have been writing poems about war, then proudly clipped them on during the Remembrance Assembly.
I lost a lot of friends and colleagues in my time in the military, but did my best to think of each one individually during the 2 minute silence.
