Remembering

Visiting the Tower of London recently allowed me to think about the huge number of servicemen killed during the First World War.

During the Two Minute Silence at 11:00 today I thought about one person.

Private Andrew Riddell, my great-grandfather, died on 13th July 1915 at Gallipoli while serving with the King's Own Scottish Borderers, he was 28.
