Later, up to the Filmhouse to see Andrey Zvyagintsev's Leviathan. That's right, pronounced errr, Andrei Zvyagintsev. His 2003 film The Return is surely one of the most memorable movies of the last... well.... eleven years. So, I hope my expectations weren't too high. Even so, I was rapt. If that means in raptures, rather than being hit over the knuckles. That's rapped, isn't it? Superb. I think the old ex-Soviet Union still does grim better than anywhere.
