Down the rabbit hole

I'm in the process of making a massive birthday cake for someone. The theme is Alice in Wonderland and it's for Saturday. I don't see me getting much sleep until then.

Spent the day up to my elbow in various types of chocolate cake, buttercream and fondant. While the cakes are firming up before being iced in fondant, I'm trying to make a tree out of straws and wire. I'll probably post updates of the cakes progress over the next few days.

L.B. came home from work with flowers for me ^^ she really does spoil me. I'll have to think of something nice to do for her in return.
