Junction Pool, Upper Farleyer

Second day of our first fishing trip of the season on the River Tay.

We were fishing further up the river and there was still about 6 inches of snow on the ground.

I walked up to the Junction pool first, where we have had fish before. As I was trudging through the snow, a roe deer ran across in front of me and waded right across the river. There was not a sound apart from the river gurgling past, the sun was shining and the snow was glistening. Perfect. Apart from the lack of fish which were obviously sitting by the fire watching telly.
