Bufdi

Learnt a new word today (thanks Petra at TÜV) Bufdi is cute little German slang word for the much longer and uglier 'Bundesfreiwilligendienst' - they used to have national service and now it's voluntary and I think, much broader, including lots of social service types of work.

But the same class weren't impressed to discover that 'pepper' can be a vegetable and a seasoning, I do love it when English gets mean like that...
