My view...

...from the gods! I squeezed myself in to the auditorium after my duties were complete.

Helping out tonight at the Inverness stage of Nicola Sturgeon's speaking tour. This was the fourth event of the tour with Edinburgh, Dumfries and Dundee coming before Inverness.

After SNP conference which is in Perth at the end of this week there are The Hydro in Glasgow and Aberdeen events concluding this tour.

All the dates sold out in a matter of hours after tickets went on sale. This was my first opportunity to be part of the audience. It was a really good event with an excellent speech, an hour long question and answer session and a great multi-cultural audience:-)

As she prepares to become Leader of the Scottish National Party and First Minister of our country, Nicola has pledged to be the most accessible First Minister the country has ever had. Certainly, there was a queue of folk at the end waiting for a word and the opportunity of a selfie with the First Minister designate, where she graciously obliged.

I'm hugely excited by the first's Nicola, a woman from my generation, is about to achieve. First woman to lead the Scottish National Party and the first female First Minister of Scotland. Titles she has worked hard to achieve in the tireless and selfless campaigning she undertakes for the people of our country and our cause of independence. Exciting times ahead.
