Not a fan

The island gets its electricity from a big generator which is turned off between 2am and 8am, then again for a couple of hours at lunch time. This means the fan pointed at me, stopping me from overheating, stops in the night. Last night I woke up very hot at 3am.

I'm staying in the main village on the island and it's not really doing much for me. I had a nice relaxing day but there are better places to relax nearby, so I will probably move in the next day or two. I think the main appeal is the nightlife. It's like a mini Koh Phangan.
