Hebble Hole Bridge

Spent many an hour here having a well earned cuppa and a sandwich whilst out hiking in the Calderdale district. A very pretty spot, so when the art group programe said 'a scene incorporating a bridge' I dug out this photo and painted it. Quite pleased with the result.

A very wet morning here, we got a bit wet going for a walk but no one seemed to mind. There is a lake now round the side of the house, it drains away but rather slowly. It fined up this afternoon and we had the family descend on us for a cuppa and my newly made nutty crunchy flapjack. (made with cornflakes and oats)
