A big day today for Children in Need. I have just been listening to the news and Sir Terry Wogan, who regularly hosts the TV Children in Need extravaganza, said that in 1980 when the charity began the public raised £1 million and since then the money raised has amounted to about £760 million - an incredible sum of money raised to help the many needy children in our country.
