Road to nowhere

Well we should have been in Tenerife with my parents now but having set off at 9.30am this morning for Gatwick airport thanks to terrible jams on M3, M25 and the roads all around Gatwick we arrived after our flight had left at 1.45pm.

We ended up rebooking a new flight for tomorrow at 7am and C and I checked into a hotel. Poor T who had taken the day off work to kindly bring us to the airport then had to set off back into the chaos, latest reports at 6pm he had only reached Guildford. Horrible and I just hope he makes it back safely later tonight.

C and I have had tea and are settling down for an early night. C went to sleep at 7pm and I won't be far behind. Early start tomorrow.
