I weakened

and bought an Orchid.

I have tried not to get involved with these exotic 'house' orchids .... grow one and a person could be tempted onto a slippery slope. However I weakened on the way back from Wales and liberated this sale price Phalaenopsis from a Garden Centre in Shrewsbury. We were on the long journey back from Wales so it had to survive laid across the luggage for a couple of hundred miles. Two of the many buds opened today so I'm happy that it likes our bathroom windowsill so far.
