Brick lane

A nameless alleyway that cuts between, and then beneath, the old buildings flanking Frankwell roundabout - technically, according to a sign on the wall, not a public right of way, but in practice a handy short cut on the school run and for getting to the post office or the off licence. The well worn brick paving often catches the light like this, and reminds me somewhat of the belly of a crocodile..
