Little Egret

Another damp day! My cat friend came in this morning and stayed for a while, don't know who she belongs to but visits here often. Went to a friend for a cuppa, lunch and then out for a long walk this afternoon, the weather had brightened a little. Made famous mistake of not taking my spare battery, normally always have it in my pocket! As it was the sky darkened so just used camera sparingly. This shot of the egret was at a distance so not as sharp as I would have liked. Also took a pic of a bird at a distance again and it was blackbird size or larger, not sure what it is. Have put it on blipfolio/country walks 2 if anyone knows what it is would be good. Hoping for better weather tomorrow
