Tarn How's

The weather looked good so we packed a picnic and headed off to the Lakes with William and Saul. The car park at Tarn Hows was very busy but we found a space and walked across to take in the view. It was very boggy in places but we squelched round the lake side for an hour of happy snapping before eating our picnic.

The light was still good so we walked up a small crag for more views. Still plenty of colour from beeches and bracken, and there was hardly any wind which allowed
lovely reflections.

The M6 was clogged up as we drove back. Home for sausage and mash, and homemade jam sponge pud. A lovely way to spend a Sunday.
