A legend

An absolutely fascinating day, with some great conversations at the StAG World Mission Sunday, but the not just cherry but entire cake on top was spending the afternoon in the company of this lovely lady. Lady Elizabeth Catherwood and her husband Fred are real legends for all involved in student ministry. She is one of life's story tellers, and was showing us old photos, and remembering places and conferences she had been to or helped run over many years. We also saw photos of her husband in his business days (before he became an MEP), equally happy talking to members of the royal family and trade unionists. She took great delight in showing us photos of some people we know now in their much younger days, which is always fun. Such a privilege to spend time with her.
