Here we go

Here's the tipper and today started on doing up. The first stage was simply removing the wood floor which was easy, everything being rotten and all nuts & bolts rusted. The chickens just visible on the bottom of lower photo seemed to enjoy picking out seemingly attractive bugs.

State of some of the thinner edge railing is pretty poor but as I don't intend to use the trailer for heavy work will find a simple way of fixing the new floor which is 4.50 x 1.90 m.

The trailer was built in 1975 and so I guess one can't complain particularly as it has been stored outdoors the last year or so. The hydraulics are good though, no leaks and as can be seen work. As I did here, it can be tipped in just 1 or 2 minutes by hand but also has the attachment for using the tractor pump.

Next stage today was using the very powerful high pressure water cleaner and by evening looked a bit better (relative of course).

Dry day apart from getting soaked by the water cleaner but a bit cool so sauna evening to warm up.
