Cuddles and a talk

Today we headed down to our local ceramics painting studio as we had a special treat for Nan Be. We had seen an item that we want to get for her birthday - but we needed her helping hand to finish it.

Although we had a lot of fun doing our parts, CJ was not in a cooperative mood and wasn't able to complete his part. He tried his hardest, but it was all a little bit much after a morning at playgroup and no nap - so we have decided to try again tomorrow, when his attention span is better.

So tonight, while cuddling with me and LJ, we spent a lot of time talking about what happened today, what we wanted him to do tomorrow, why it was important and that there would be a treat if he completed what we needed.

I think he understood, although a lot of the time he just wanted to watch little baby LJ.
