Ti Kouka blowing in the wind.

Standing under my cabbage tree I watch the wind, yes wind again, turn the flower spikes into catapults while the long slender foliage is like tinsel as it flickers in the light. Ti Kouka, or NZ Cabbage tree, is endemic to New Zealand.

A busy day thinking of food for the weekend, menus, recipes and grocery lists. A delivery van arrived which was unexpected for today, it was supposed to arrive Thurs/Fri - it was quite exciting! Can't say too much just yet as family members may be reading.

Busy trying to water the new lawn but the wind is getting the better off us, hopefully it will settle soon.

Must fly - there's plenty more to be done.
