Allen and Sally

We met at the B&B where we stayed in Picton. They were enjoying a weekend away from work. They work in Able Tasman Park on a boat that transports people into the park over water. From there, they kayak, camp, and or trek. Alan captains the boat and his wife, Sally is the first mate. When they discovered that we would be spending the day in the park, they suggested their service, and as it turned out they were working today.

We walked about 6 or 7 k through the forest and on the beach of the beautiful deep turquoise Tasman Bay.
