Harris of Kings Cross

What a thrill seeing this magnificent Harris Hawk with his Falconer walking around Kings Cross Station to deter and frighten off the pigeons.
It makes up for the one that got away yesterday in Central park - a beautiful autumn- red coloured bird, the size of a Jay. I was so excited that it flew away before I took a photo! I must find out what it was.
