Watling Lodge

There are some good sections of the Antonine Wall not far from where I live. These provide good photographic opportunities in all seasons and, although I missed the best of the autumn colours this year, there are still plenty of patches of yellow, gold and brown to be found.

Returning from a trip into Falkirk on Monday, I decided to come back along Tamfourhill Road to have a look at the stretch of the wall called Watling Lodge. Despite the heavy rain shower that started just as I parked the car, the view did not disappoint. Just love the Antonine Wall!
